Seven Chakras of Body


Here are discussed the seven life chakras that gives the human body sense of self-consciousness.

Seventh- Crown chakra

Know about ChakrasThe seventh important chakra is called crown chakra which lies on the top of the head. This chakra is associated with top of head, brain and the whole nervous system. Crown chakra regulates these body organs and the colour of this chakra is violet.

It is also called Sahasrara in Sanskrit. The imbalance of seventh chakra can lead to various malfunctions like headache, mental illness, neuralgia, brain disorder, epilepsy, varicose veins and blood vessel problems. Crown chakra has associated bij mantra: AUM

Sixth- Brow chakra

The sixth chakra is called brow chakra which is also known as 'ajna' in Sanskrit. The location of this chakra is forehead in the middle of the eyes. This chakra governs the areas of forehead, brain, neurological system, eyes, ears, nose, pituitary and pineal gland.

The imbalance of this sixth chakra and its related organs lead to sleep disorders, learning disabilities, co-ordination problems, blindness, deafness, spinal dysfunctions, brain tumours and depression. The colour associated with this chakra is indigo and bij mantra for brow chakras is said to be: OM

Fifth- Throat chakra

The fifth life chakra is called as throat chakra and in Sanskrit it is known as 'visuddha'. The location of this chakra is throat base and governs the body areas like throat, neck, arms, hands, thyroid, trachea, neck vertebrae, mouth, teeth gums and esophagus.

The colour associated with fifth chakra is blue. The imbalance of this chakra lead to thyroid problems, swollen glands, fever, flu, infections; problems in mouth, jaw, neck, shoulders; hyperactivity; hormonal disorders etc. Bij mantra for throat chakra is: HUM

Fourth- Heart chakra

The fourth chakra is Anahata and heart chakra which is located in the center of the chest. The body parts governed by heart chakra are heart, circulatory system, blood, lungs, diaphragm, thymus, breast, esophagus, arms, shoulders and hands.

The colour associated with this chakra is green and pink. The imbalance of this chakra can cause heart and breathing disorders, chest pain, high blood pressure, passivity, immune system problems, asthma, lung and breast cancer, pneumonia, back and shoulder disorders. Third- Solar plexus chakra

The third chakra is called power center and manipura in Sanskrit. It is located above the navel in the stomach area and governs the body parts like upper abdomen, umbilicus to rib cage, liver, gallbladder, middle spine, spleen, kidney, adrenals, small intestines and stomach.

The colour associated with this is yellow. The imbalance of this chakra can cause digestive problems, constipation, ulcers, diabetes, nervousness, toxicity, stomach ulcers, hepatitis, adrenal imbalances, and arthritis and colon disease. Bij of this important chakra is: RAM

Second- Sacral chakra

It is also known as svadisthana and governs the main organs such as reproductive system, sexual organ, upper intestine, liver and gallbladder, kidney, pancreas, adrenal glands, spleen and middle spine.

The colour associated with this chakra is orange. The imbalance of the chakra can lead to low back pain, sciatica, pelvic pain, low libido, impotency and urinary problems. Sacral chakra has bij mantra: VAM

First- Root chakra

Root chakra is the last chakra of the body, literary it is last but numerically it is first. It is called Muldhara in Sanskrit and located in the perineum-the point between the anus and the sex organ. The body parts governed by root chakra are lymph system, skeleton system, prostate gland in men, the sacral plexus, the bladder and the elimination system and the lower extremities including legs, feet and ankles.

The colour that belongs to this chakra is red and the imbalances of this chakra can cause anemia, fatigue, sciatica depression, lower back pain, varicose veins, rectal tumours, immune disorders. Root chakra bij mantra is followed as: LAM

Therefore these discussed chakras are important and their proper function is necessary in order to maintain healthy body. The chemicals through food and other products influence our body and pollute with high toxins which in turn imbalances our energy chakras which eventually effects us on physical level. Thus in order to maintain good health chakras has to work in proper manner.
