Aromatherapy Aromatherapy is the process of applying volatile oils and extracts on the body extracted from natural plants for the betterment and stimulation of psychological and physical well-being. It involves application of essential extracts accompanied by extracted oils on the body parts to relieve body pains, anxiety, tension, stress and better circulation of blood.

It is believed that herbal plants have natural curative powers to heal the body from severe aliment and pain whether consisted of psychological or physical. Herbal plants are thought to possess curative powers to stimulate flow of body energy so that it works in harmony with body systems. Essential oils are used after the several stages of purification and distillation extracted from natural plants and vegetable.

Essential oils are also termed as aromatic oils or volatile oils generally employed in aromatherapy. Aromatherapy involves the incorporation of several other natural corresponding elements such as vegetable oils, vegetable extract, herbs, extracts of plants, extracts of fragrant flower, hydrosols, sand and clay etc.

Aromatic plants and flowers are thought to possess extensive curative and healing power that has been used from thousand of years in therapeutic modalities. Aromatherapy is a therapeutic form that has history back into the ancient time where people from all civilization including Egyptians, Indians, Chinese, Greeks and Romans had used natural extracts in cosmetic, medicine and perfumes.

Generally the incense of natural extracts works as receptor on our mind and body, as we smell the essential oils after the application on body smell receptors of our nose get active to communicate with parts of brain which is the hub of sensations, emotions and thought process. As practitioners believes when we breathe the smell during aromatherapy, our brain and body gets stimulate which thereby tickles and influence physical, mental and emotional well-being.

This therapy is great for all types of pains, rejuvenation, prevent anxiety, stress and tension overall it boosts energy and promotes health & well-being.
