In Feng Shui, there are five elements which need to be considered in order to bring equilibrium in building. Theory of Feng Shui is immensely influenced by these five elements which have to be balanced in surrounding. Following are important Feng Shui elements-
Earth element Feng Shui earth element is most important and can be identified in the homes or offices. Earth element is represented by any item such clay pot, sand, stone, tile, brick siding etc. Colors like yellow, orange, brown, tan and natural tone also represents earth element. Earth element brings stability and balance while too much influence or incorporating of any one of the five elements may cease bringing prosperity, health and wealth.
Fire element Feng Shui fire element is identified by electrical appliances such as oven, stoves and lighting, lamps, candles, fiery paintings or posters especially of red color, pointed roofs, steeples and mountains, items in red and hot pink color, items that are pyramid, triangle, cubic or angular in shape. Fire element influences intensity, enthusiasm and passion, however too much of this element create nervousness, may leave you weak or tired. Therefore, there should be minimum fire elements at home.
Metal element Feng Shui metal element is represented by gold, copper, brass, silver anything made of these metals can be identified as Feng Shui metal element. Items made of stone, rock, marble, and sculptures, gate, wind chimes, iron work, colors like metallic, white and items which are circular, spherical, and round can be considered as fire element objects. Metal element influences your communications, creativity and improves relationships with children. But too much presence of this element may cause anxiety, unrest and emotional outbreaks.
Water element Feng Shui water element can be seen in the form of fountains, fish bowls; items such as natural crystals, glass and mirror; objects in dark blue, grey and black in color; objects that are not clearly defined in shape. Water element influences your business, career, success, knowledge and wisdom. The presence of much water element makes you indecisive.
Wood element Feng Shui wood element is identified with the items which are made of wood including furniture, wall panels, railings, wooden tables, flowers, plants, trees, fabrics such as wool, cotton etc; paintings of landscape and flora and fauna; items in green and blue colors; items in tree trunk shape, vertical shape. Wood element influences personal growth, creativity and ability to expand in new directions. Too much of wood element can make you unable to take or make decisions.
