
House is the abode of human beings or dwelling place which has to confirm doctrine of
Vastu to yield peace,
prosperity and progress. A house should be constructed with Vastu set of rules with right location and placement of every room & section to balance the natural energies that help attain all-round
harmony and contentment. Structure of house holds prominent place and significance in Vastu-Shastra which is the essence of life according to ancient texts.
Vastu home should be compliant in the sense that dwelling place has everything on its corresponding place and in correct
direction. During construction of house one should not overlook Vastu aspects because overlooking can give undesirable and harmful results in future course to the inmates of house. Vastu provide principle for both existing and to be constructed house, however the only difference is implementation. There are some essential rules that have to be followed in order to make house Vastu property:
- Ideal entrance should be constructed in East or North.
- Worship room is considered ideal in North-east and make sure that this room is not constructed anywhere else.
- Centre of the house should be kept open and free from any construction.
- Stairs are best in South-west.
- Living room can be constructed in North-west while the entrance should be such that people face South and North while sitting.
- Kitchen should only be constructed in South-east direction.
- Toilets should be in North-west or West direction.
- Master bedroom should be in South-west direction.
- Ensure the position of Over-head tank and under-water tank.
- Children’s room is important to determine so that their studies do not get hamper.
- Do not purchase existing house from people suffering from chronic disease; selling under obligation, stress or bankruptcy etc.
